Kelly’s Cocktail: French 75

1 oz. Gin
1/2 oz lemon juice, freshly squeezed
1/2 oz simple syrup
3 oz champagne (or sparkling wine)
garnish: lemon twist

Fun Fact: Allegedly named for the fast-firing 75 millimeter field gun that was utilized by the French during World War One.

Jamie’s Cocktail: Mary Pickford

2 oz light rum
2-3 oz pineapple juice
splash of grenadine
1 oz maraschino liqueur (if available)
garnish: maraschino cherries

Fun Fact: Named for the 1920s silent film starlet, Mary Pickford. Allegedly the cocktail was created by a bartender in Havana specially for Mary Pickford, naming it in her honor.
